Related directly to the Hopper?

The article says that this creature is a Hopper mutated with Phazon, but I'm pretty sure that this info is wrong. The logbook entry doesn't mention that Phazon Hoppers are mutated bryyonian Hoppers, but it does mention that both of them behave similarly, so I think that Phazon Hoppers are another kind of Hoppers native (possibly) from Phaaze. --Rodriguez/Predalien/Gallian (talk) 19:16, September 27, 2019 (UTC)

To be frank, I don't consider them mutated hoppers. The Japanese version scans describe the creature as a mature hopping metroid (see the trivia). Considering that they never appear on the same planet as hoppers but always appear in proximity to metroids, this is a more rational explanation. JeruTz (talk) 12:55, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
