I can't even see the language. Is it the panel in the far background under the platform? --РoйбoйX (TalkContribsUN) 17:14, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

I agree. Is there anyone who could possibly get a better resolution pic? Complete Supremacy 17:18, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

Yes. I'd prefer one from one of the series games, but that is what I had at the time. It's why the image tag is there. ChozoBoy (Talk/Contribs) 17:43, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

Not Space Pirate Language[]

This is not Space Pirate; this is Chozoan. You can see that the text from the images on this page matches all of the Chozo writings found throughout Metroid Prime 1. 164.76.184.245 21:36, June 14, 2017 (UTC)MetroidLuver13

Interesting find. Very curious that Chozo language would be on a pirate vessel. Worthy of putting in the trivia section I'd say. --Madax the Shadow {ADMIN} (talklogscontribs) 23:42, June 14, 2017 (UTC)
Perhaps they were trying to translate it to locate the Chozo artifacts. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 01:07, June 15, 2017 (UTC)

Vocals[]

I'm concerned that most of the examples given in the "Vocals" section may simply be pareidolia. "Samus" is very clearly enunciated (and is already covered in the English article), but after listening through all samples of Pirate vocalizations from Prime 3, I just don't hear any of the other supposed phrases. Frankly, even the Omega Pirate's "finish her", which we've had mentioned in its trivia for some time, has always seemed doubtful to me. Bearborg[ADMIN] (talk) 22:31, 11 August 2023 (UTC)

That is an interesting point you make. I thought the Omega Pirate's line was verified, seeing as how long that statement has been there on the page plus the creature's actions (screaming at the above Pirates). Did game designers ever confirm the phrase? Corruption sounds a little clearer with voice clips, but you may be right if I am hearing things a little differently. I was also basing the information on their actions as well. I can understand the name "Samus" being heard, as names are proper nouns and pretty much all vocabulary lessons never translate proper nouns (I think). I suppose I can tone down some of the notes until most phrases are properly identified. Thank you for voicing your opinions (also thank you for the English link, I wasn't aware of that page).
