Tim Cowan or Timothy Cowan is a software engineer and technical director. He worked at Retro Studios from December 2005-May 2006 on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and was responsible for implementing advanced rendering features and creature behavior and mechanics for the game. He is credited under additional thanks in the game. Before and after Corruption Cowan worked at EA Tiburon, where he is currently the head of technology and oversees the Madden NFL, NBA Live and PGA Tour franchises.
