Todd Simmons is an American software engineer, video game developer and program manager based in Austin, Texas. Simmons was an on-site audio contractor at Retro Studios from July 2004-August 2007, where he provided sounds for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. According to his LinkedIn profile, his tasks included creating hundreds of sounds using a game editor and scripting system, working closely with the programmers, artists and designers for the projects. Simmons was responsible for final pass audio quality control for large sections of Corruption. He also used Microsoft SharePoint to track milestones in the development of the games. In the years after departing Retro, Simmons worked at a number of other jobs. He is currently the program manager at Thinktiv, a business building company that works with both startups and Fortune 500 companies.
