Toshihiko Okamoto is a designer and coordinator at Nintendo involved in their Software Planning & Development Department. He became senior planner there in 2011. Okamoto has frequently worked with Retro Studios as well, including as a coordination assistant for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Okamoto is also credited under special thanks in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and coordination in its New Play Control! port and that of the original Metroid Prime. After the Prime Series, he assisted Retro with the level design of Donkey Kong Country Returns, 3D and Tropical Freeze.
