Hi, Welcome to my user page. I have been a life long Metroid fan and the first metroid game I played was Super Metroid. I first played it on an emulator when I was around 3 or 4, OK, I did sucked at it but I absolutely loved it (and still do). Before then I spent a lot of time watching my dad play.

I own all the Metroid games (apart from Metroid Prime Pinball) and love the prime trilogy. My favourite game is prime 3.in early 2007 I started playing all the 2D games in order and I'm currently on Super Metroid (having got it on the Wii's virtual console in October 2007) I have made slow progress but that is because I was concentrating more on the prime games (and Super Mario Galaxy).
[edit] Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission (1986/2004)
Metroid is the only metroid game that I don’t really like, had I been alive in 1986 (and able to play games) I think that I would have much preferred it. The main thing that puts me of is the code system, I have tried but I have never been able to get into it.
Metroid: Zero Mission on the other hand is a brilliant game, both visually and game play wise. I have completed it twice and I'm currently playing it a third time. Because I don't like Metroid 1, I played this one thou when I started playing all the 2D games in order.

One word, WOW! Now this is one great game. I got it a bit after release (should have got it on day one) and was amassed by everything, the detailed landscape (don't get me started on enemy’s) and a control scheme that "flows" perfectly made this one of the most enjoyable games ever.
