From Wikitroid, the Metroid wiki
'Ello, I am Tucker's creator. Who is Tucker? Why, he is the lead star of the coming series Tuck Talk and I am his creator (co-creator, to be exact, I work with a fello' named Poof Junior) I hope to enter filmmaking and I have many film writing projects I am working on currently.Contents |
[edit] History with Metroid
Metroid Zero Mission was the first game I ever played. I mostly forgot about Metroid after that, concentrating more on the Mario franchise, but in the past three years, following the release of Metroid Prime Corruption, I've had a rejuvenated interest in them. I am an avid researcher and thus I know more about Metroid than several people I know who have played twice as many Metroid games than I have. I hope to be able to contribute to the this wiki a good deal, as it is still relatively young and small. My hope is that this wiki can become as respected and as influential as major wikis like Wookiepedia. You'll often find me here on this wiki engaged in intelligent debate with the others, as debate and discussion are great ways to get both your own wrong ideas and others cleared out.
[edit] Wiki Projects
While editors like ChozoBoy, Dazuro, and Hellkaiserryo 12 are taking care of daily work on the site, I'm going to devote my time on this wiki to "sweeping" the articles here, starting with the Editor's pick articles. My current projects are:
1. Writing the page History of the Space Pirates. Done
2. Adding sources to the History of the Space Pirates. 20% complete
3. Fleshing out the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption plot and adding images. Done
3. Fixing the Horus Rebellion page. Done
4. Sweeping the Samus Aran page. Done
5. Adding images to the Samus Aran page. 80%
6. Sweeping the Unholy Trinity pages. 0% complete
7. Sweeping the Chozo page. 5% completed
8. Sweeping the Luminoth page. 10% completed
[edit] Film Projects
Most of these are future films I'd like to make but some I am working on currently. Feel free to ask me any questions about them and any suggestions you have.

The story of two friends.
- Train Station(Short Film)
No one truly forgets their childhood.
- WebMan(Film)
By day, he is janitor. By night, He is...WEBMAN.

(Hum John Williams them)In Hurassic Park, there are extinct humans, and the humans will kill youuuuuuu...
- The Perfect Woman(Tentative Title)(Film)
"In a depraved and sinful world, can anyone truly recognize perfection anymore?" thought the good doctor. He decided to find out.
- Twilek(Film)
Let me tell you a story about two kids, a girl who loved Twilight and a boy who loved Star Wars, and how they both learned what true love really is.
- Measure for Measure(Tentative Title)(Comedy)(Play)
A low-tier laborman with big dreams finally gets the spark of inspiration needed to get out and become famous, but in doing so, he over-stresses and over-burdens his friends to the point to abandonement, but when he realizes their misery years later, he sets out to make their wildest dreams come true...
- The Cartoonist Reviewer(Commentary)(Series)
Title says it all.
- Tower of Babel(Film)

- The Lowing Steer(Film)
Addison Montgomery, powerful mass businessman and merciless crusher of human souls...and proud of it...until he came face to face with the embodiment of sacrifice itself...The Lowing Steer.
[edit] Metroid Film Series
I am working on a Metroid film! An entire series, in fact! While it will be years before I can become a director, I've been working on this script for two years now and it is virtually completed. Hopefully, in a few months, I can have it registered and we'll be rolling! It follows the events straight from Samus's adoption and all the way through her life. If John Woo can slack off for just a LITTLE longer, I may have a decent chance of actually making this become a reality. Feel free to ask me any questions about it.[edit] Things Science Fiction Forgets
This section regards common mistakes and memes in science fiction that have yet to be fixed and could probably be a lot cooler if some has the courage to correct them.
[edit] Lasers
- In science fiction, lasers are depicted as a single projectile that can be seen flying through the air much like a bullet. Stronger lasers in science fiction, however, are a single focused beam, but can still be seen traveling through the air. In reality, a laser travels at the speed of light and thus can never be seen traveling through the air. It will ALWAYS look like a single beam.
- Wielding a laser gun in battle would likely be very different than depicted in science fiction, where one uses them similarly to the modern gun. It is more likely that a laser gun would be used like a really long sword, simply cutting through any opponents. Unlike a lightsaber, however, where the beam simply ends so there is a definate length, a real laser sword would simply keep going forever until the beam is so unfocused that it is no longer dangerous, which would probably be a VERY far distance.
[edit] Space
- There is no sound in space. Sound requires a medium to travel and thus it can not travel in space. This problem is perhaps the funniest in Star Wars Episode II, where Jango Fett uses SONIC BOMBS, which in space would do absolutely nothing.
- Space has no temperature because it is nothing. Exposing your bare skin to space would not cause you to freeze. Likewise, because space is nothing, going out naked in space(with an oxygen tank, of course) would not kill you because your skin is virtually air-tight, and thus you would remain alive and fully conscious. The only real health concern from exposing your bare skin to space is that you would likely inflate a good bit because the pressure is in space would be zero. This will not kill you but you will end up looking like some sort of bodybuilder.
- Black holes are not really that deadly. Their gravitational pull is no greater than that of the star that they once were. If it were still a star, its gravitational pull would be no different and the same distance that the black hole could "suck" you in and crush you would be the same distance that the star could "suck" you in and incinerate you. Also, because a black hole sucks in light, it is impossible to see one.
[edit] Starfighter tactics
- Starfighters tactics in science fiction, especcially Star Wars, are simply based off of the tactics of dogfights on Earth but miss several important factors. There is no up and down in space; directions are whatever you want them to be. Because of this, one is not limited in their approach to attack some thing, they can turn their ship upside down and still chose to say they are right side up and they are not wrong! This type of thinking is especcially useful against enemies who are still stuck in up/down thinking.
- In space, there is no air resistance. If one wanted their starship to go foward and keep going, one does not need to have their starship's boosters on the whole journey. Rather, they just need to get to top speed, then they can shut them off and their ship will keep moving at the same speed forever, until they need to stop or turn! This lends itself to an especcially useful starfighter tactic. If s fighter is being pursued by enemy ships from behind, the fighter simply needs to reach top speed, then use a side jet to turn itself around so that it keeps going in the same direction, but now is facing backwards! Then it can simply blast all the enemy fighters behind it with ease. Using this tactic could have turned the trench run of the Death Star fight in Episode IV into the EASIEST battle of all time!
- Defense in space is so complicated that offense is the only real good approach. In space, an enemy can come from any direction and thus you have to be able to defend yourself in every direction at once! Thus the only real good tactic for defense is a powerful offense on their most important stronghold.
- Invasion of a planet through land battles like in Star Wars is the worst invasion plan anyone can ever try, for a planet is incredibly massive and land invasion could possibly take YEARS! The easiest way to invade a planet(but probably not the most ethical way) would be simply to get a gigantic laser cannon, put it up in orbit above the planet, and just fire it until the enemy surrenders. Orbit of a planet will likely not take much longer than several hours on a big planet, several minutes on a small one, and it becomes more efficient when you can aim the laser too! Imagine what you could do with just five of these lasers!
Sadly, it seems that the only reason why nobody seems to have implemented ideas like these is because nobody seems to have the courage. But if someone does these one day, it will be the greatest science fiction revolution since Star Wars.
[edit] My Channel
This is my Youtube channel, where Tuck Talk will be broadcasted on. Currently, I only have up a few animation tests, but check out my friend's POOFJunior channel for some cool animation shorts.
