Wave Quake Generators (also known as a Wave Quake projector) are used by Elite Pirates and the Phazon Elite in Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Pinball. The Wave Quake Generator is activated when either type of Elite smashes one or both of their fists into the ground, sending a massive shock wave that can only be dodged if Samus jumps over it. The Omega Pirate also wields one of these devices. The Metroid Prime's core essence uses a similar attack. A variation of this weapon may have been used by Ingsmashers, Berserker Knights and Berserker Lords.
