The Windchamber Gateway is a room in the Temple Grounds. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. One side of the room is cut off from the other, and the only way to get to the other side is via Kinetic Orb Cannon or Screw Attack. There is also an Energy Tank in the room. It can be easily seen, but Samus must acquire the Grapple Beam to get to it.
Connecting rooms[]
- Grand Windchamber (via Yellow Hatch)
- Path of Eyes (via Green Hatch)
Items[]
- Energy Tank
- Samus requires the Grapple Beam to acquire the Energy Tank. Alternatively, she can reach the Energy Tank using the Screw Attack.

Trivia[]
- Falling into the abyss in the GameCube version of this room will not actually damage Samus. This was fixed in the Metroid Prime Trilogy version.
- The Energy Tank can also be obtained without either the Grapple Beam or the Screw Attack.[1]
