Ylla

The Ylla are a race that the Luminoth encountered before settling on the planet Aether. The Reptilicus Lords of Science of Bryyo may have also encountered them, possibly under the name Vlla, and freely exchanged knowledge with them.

• Ilya Nazarov was mistakenly credited as "Ilva Nazarov" in Corruption. There appears to be some sort of name relation between his first name and Ylla, as well as the typo and Vlla.
• Their name could also be a reference to the Ray Bradbury short story "I'll Not Look For Wine", which appeared in MacLean's in January, 1950 and in the anthology The Martian Chronicles as "Ylla".
