No one calls me a pig and lives! I blast 'em to bits!!

Zameel (ザミイル Zamiiru?) is a character that appears in the first chapter of Metroid EX: Samus & Joey. He is a pig-like creature that speaks with a Southern accent, who personally received Samus Aran's stolen Missile Launcher from Greed. Samus encounters him in Brigandia on the planet Outlaw, and he begins going on a rampage. His henchmen try to kill Samus, who dispatches them and shoots Zameel with her Power Beam, however, it has no effect.

Zameel takes particular offense to being called a pig. Whereas Samus' Missiles are fired from her Arm Cannon, Zameel's are fired from a hatch on his nose. He also has the ability to blast into the sky, which he uses to fire a Super Missile. Samus catches it and throws it back, killing him. The Missile upgrade is released from his body, and Samus assimilates it back into her Power Suit.

Ironically, Zameel's name is an anagram of Missile in Japanese.
